A library is the backbone of a College.Great care has been put into to make sure the library provides gateway of information in the field of advanced Technology and Management through various medias. Being the main support hub for learning,it provides services and facilities to meet the requirements of the Institute’s teaching ,research and consultancy programs.

THE LIBRARY WOULD OPERATE WITH THE FOLLOWING OBJECTIVES :

  • To support learning process of students in various academic programs through provision of knowledge and information.
  • To meet the knowledge/information needs of the faculty and support their teaching, research and other academic activities.
  • To respond effectively to other knowledge/information needs which come up from time to time.

Library Working Hours 9:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M
Issue & Return Timing 9:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
IIssue & Return Timings For Cd’s 9:15 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Timings For Book Reservation 11:30A.M -12:30 P.M.
Timing For Xerox 9:15 A.M. – 4:15 P.M.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • The Students should keep their belongings except wallet and notebooks,in the pigeon boxes located at the entrance of the library.
  • The Library register should be signed by the visitors on arrival to maintain visitor’s information.
  • Silence should be maintained in the library,so that others are not disturbed.
  • Fine and Punishment would be given to the misbehaving students or the student who damage library books or college asse.
  • Issuence and return of books would take place according to following rules and Maximum of three books would be provided at a time to each student . Issuence of books would be against I card & Library card only. The responsibility lies on the the borrower for the books issued to him/her against his/her I-cards The person should report the loss or theft of the I-Card immediately to the Librarian, failing which he/she would be responsible for any misuse of his/her I-card or books issued against such lost card. The Issuence of new cards would be done only against the payment of Rs. 200.00 per I-card.
  • The already issued books would only be re issued to the same person only after a period of 24 hours.
  • The Issuence period for the books is of Ten days before which the student is ought to return the books,failing which a fine of Rs. 5/- per day per book for seven days would be charged and for subsequent period the charge would be raised Rs.10 / day.
  • Few study materials like Reference books, Dictionaries, Magazines, Journals & unbound periodicals will not be issued commonly.
  • The Librarian has the right to refuse the Issuence of a book to any user or call back any book without explanation for the same.
  • To get a reserved book issued ,the member has to fill up the request form mentioning the author name and title of the requested.
  • A fine of triple the cost of the book will be imposed on the member in case he is found tearing, stealing or defacing books/journals/magazines.
  • If the issued book is lost or not returned within four weeks after the specified period, the following penalty would be be imposed on him/her along with replacement charge i.e. Rs.20/-. If the price of the book is equal or more than ₹100/- the recovery will be double the cost of the book If the price of the book is less than 100/- the recovery will be equal to the cost of the book plus ₹100/- as penalty. In case of unpriced publication, the replacement cost {xeroxing , paper etc.} and the binding charges may be recovered along with ₹100/- as penalty. The final decision in such case will be taken by the principal with due approval of the Dean.
  • After the semester exams are over the students are obliged to submit all the books issued to them within three days. In case of final year students,they are required to handover all the books issued to them and obtain NO DUES certificate before the examination.
